First up, Happy St. Patrick's Day from Boston!
Being in Boston during this holiday is crazy, anywhere you stand is a party. Constantly surrounded by a sea of green drunks. Especially since my school is in Kenmore and I got out around the time people were arriving for the Drop Kick Murpheys yearly show. I need to go to that some day even though I'm not a big fan. Just want to get drunk and sing Irish music with a crowd of my people ;)
I missed my train so I doodled a self portrait of myself. Don't ask me where I got the beads, I have no idea. I wasn't kidding about it being a giant party anywhere you stand. I've had a shit ton of people scream "HAPPY SAINT PATRICK'S DAY!" and throw various jewelry at me all day. Most frequently happens on the T.( image behind the cutCollapse )
Speaking of art, In my Head, Hands, and Feet class we were drawing feet. I did some foot modeling and had to hold my foot in a really uncomfortable pose for 20 minutes. It was agony but I suffered through it because apparently it was a really cool pose and everybody was crowding around, lol. But I was resting all the weight of my lower leg on just my bent big toe. Art is suffering, even when you're not the artist, haha.
Also, the professor used my drawings as examples! He's only done that one other time the whole semester. When he thinks someone is doing something amazing he shows it to the rest of the class. He showed the drawings of feet I did! Feet and hands are my weakest points so I felt crazy awesome.
Also, I love my History of Animation class. My professor has a Looney Tunes bias, so we watched a bunch of those today. We got to watch the Chuck Jones frog too! :D I love that frog. It's the one that drives everybody crazy because it only sings and dances when it's alone with one person. I basically forget to pay attention to animation techniques and giggle like crazy when we watch these shorts, haha, whoops.
Also, Can I just say GLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. I mean that both literally and as the show title.( Spoilers for Glee! I can't believe you've avoided them so far.Collapse )
